On 12 August 2009, the Minister for Housing, the Hon Tanya Plibersek MP, announced that Round Three of the National Rental Affordability Scheme will open from 1 September 2009.
Applications can be received from 1 September and the Call will remain open for up to 12 months.
The extended opening period acknowledges the feedback which has been received from housing providers and developers about the way in which project planning and the securing of finance needs to be undertaken, particularly in the current economic environment.
NFP Consulting strongly recommends all interested parties to commence scoping their plans for any potential Round Three submission now, rather than delay due to the extended opening period.
The Round Three submission will contain a number of complex areas to be addressed and these need to be thought out well before any submission is completed.
NFP Consulting was substantially involved in the NRAS Round Two submission process on behalf of a client. Re: National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) - Call for ...
I am looking to submitt one of my homes for NRAS. However since checking with
www.NRASScheme.com.au
They have told me that round 3 (unlike rounds 1 and 2). Each applicant must submitt 1,000 properties. Is this correct?
Thanks
Paul
