Managing in a Downturn - Critical Reading for Not-for-Profit Organisations

"Managing in a Downturn" is a comprehensive survey of the impact of the economic downturn on not-for-profit organisations.

A little over six months since its publication, it deserves reviewing by every interested organisation - not just Not-for-Profit organisations.

The survey, published through collaboration between PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Fundraising Institute Australia and the Centre for Social Impact, was conducted in April and May 2009. The survey focussed on the then current situation but importantly asked Not-for-Profit organisations to assess the anticipated future impact over the following 12 months.

With the future impact in mind, NFP Consulting Group recommends that organisations read the report to compare what the survey thought would happen in the future compared to what is happening. An online version is available on each of the collaborating organisation's websites:
