A recent survey by PriceWaterhouseCoopers of over 260 Australian not-for-profit organisations found that most organisations have forecast a drop in income and expect operational costs to increase in the next twelve months.
However, the survey goes on to note that most not-for-profit organisations are taking direct action to combat the effects of the downturn - such as being more stringent budgeting and planning but also increasing management expertise and strategic planning. What action are you taking?
With the forecast estimates predicting a gloomy time for the not-for-profit sector, it may be prudent for not-for-profit organisations to seek independent opinion and advice now. Boards and management take note!
