NFP Consulting Group is proud to announce that it has recently finalised both the Strategic Plan and Business 5 year Plan for the Harris Park Community Centre (HPCC). Both plans were completed with the assistance and oversight of HPCC’s Coordinator, Ronda Evenden and Chairperson, Anita Brown.
The Strategic Plan and Business Plan for HPPC were developed by NFP Consulting Group as part of its pro bono Community Support Program. The next step in the planning process will be a full review of the 5 year plan and its detailed strategic objectives by HPCC’s Management Committee before final implementation and presentation to HPCC stakeholders. Implementation is just as important as the planning process that it began with.
Our ability to to work closely with community organisations and provide expertise in traditional 'business' disciplines is one of our strengths that continue to attract a growing list of clients within the not for profit sector.
"This was an intensive and sometimes taxing experience" commented HPCC’s Coordinator, Ronda Evenden, "and was the first time that I have been actively involved of the preparation of a strategic and business plan."
"The process captured all our ideas for improvement and development and put them into an easy to use structure. The NFP Consulting Group team were always available to discuss and debate as we developed the plans and I am pleased they have offered to continue their support through the implementation process. I can't thank them enough"
HPCC’s Chairperson, Anita Brown, also added "We knew we needed to sort out our strategy and put it into some type of plan – not only for our sake but also to comply with future funding requirements. It is almost certain that if you cannot show a funding organisation or donor your plan for the future, your chances of continued support are limited."
"To have the experience of NFP Consulting Group available was wonderful – we couldn't have done it without them."
NFP Consulting Group is honoured to assist community organisations on a pro bono or reduced fee basis. We invite community organisations to submit an expression of interest. All expressions of interest will be considered on a case-by-case basis, with weight given to the social dividends currently achieved by the organisation and the potential for improved performance and better social returns. We are confident that our investment in the organisations that we select adds value to the organisation as well as the community that the organisation serves.
