IAN MCHUGH has over 35 years of management and technical experience in diverse markets, including mining, manufacturing and construction as well as the Not-for Profit sectors. Ian is qualified in Geology at RMIT and is also a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ian has extensive experience as a company director in unlisted public companies in both the corporate and the Not-for Profit sectors, and has also represented industry sectors as a member of national and trans-Tasman industry associations. His work as a director has been primarily focused on strategic development, business planning, asset management and performance management.

Apart from his executive role with NFP Consulting Group, Ian advises the corporate sector in performance management and career management. Prior to his consulting work, Ian spent ten years as Managing Director and CEO of the Lafarge Group in Australia. Lafarge is the largest building materials manufacturer and supplier in the world.

Ian is a founding director of NFP Consulting Group and its Chairperson.
