ERN PHANG is an experienced lawyer and proven company director, heavily involved with not-for-profit and community organisations.

Ern is the principal lawyer of Parramatta law firm, Phang Legal, as well as a director of several public companies and private enterprises. Ern combines his entrepreneurial flair, commercial acumen and legal expertise to guide clients towards success through practical advice and cost effective solutions. Ern was recently nominated for the Law Society President's Award at the Law and Justice Foundation 2009 Justice Awards for his service to improving access to justice through pro bono work (click here).

Ern holds a Master of Laws from the University of Technology, Sydney and is admitted to practise law in New South Wales, Victoria and the High Court. Ern is also a Justice of the Peace, a Notary Public, and a member of the NSW Law Society, Australian Institute of Company Directors, and the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.

In addition to a successful property and commercial law practice, Ern provides a range of legal services to not-for-profit and community organisations, especially to churches and church-based services. Ern also supports the NSW Law Society Pro Bono Scheme, Legal Aid and Seniors Card holders.

Ern is the founding director of NFP Consulting Group and its company secretary. Ern also maintains and supports the NFP website.
