The draft report of the Productivity Commission's inquiry into the Not-For-Profit (NFP) sector is due out in mid-October.

The Commission has been asked to adopt a broad definition of the not for profit sector to encompass most types of not for profit organisations, including Australian based international aid and development agencies. Read more »»

Pro Bono Nomination and Recognition

We are proud to announce that NFP director, Ern Phang received a nomination for the 2009 Law Society President's Award.

The Law Society President's Award is presented to an individual solicitor for pro bono work through the Law Society Pro Bono scheme. The scheme aims to increase access to justice by accepting applications from disadvantaged people and referring them to solicitors prepared to act on a pro bono basis. Read more »»
